Hi there,
My name is Benjamin Schmidt and I'm a French graphic designerTake a look below if you're curious to see what I'm all about.
" Creating "
Of course, first and foremost comes my passion for creating. As far as I remember, I've always been holding a pen in my hand and doodling in page corners. My university years made me realize I enjoyed digital creation as well, and I decided to make a living out of it.
I'd say what I enjoy most about graphic design is coming up with fun new ideas and visual identities  from scratch, and getting to see a new world of creative possibilities expand.
" Cooking "
Although to be honest I'm not particularly good at it.
Growing up made me realize that cooking for the people you love is one of the most fulfilling, yet simple thing the world has to offer.
Maybe I'll bake something for you if we get to work together in the future. ;)
" Playing "
Some of my earliest memories involve my father coming home with Nintendo 64 cartridges in his hands, plugging them eagerly and uncovering brand new worlds to explore.
Since then, playing games has always been a core part of my identity, fueling my drive to create stuff even.
I'm not a hardcore gamer per say, but jolly couch co-op vibes are my jam. I'll take you at Mario Kart anytime.
" Animation "
I'd say "cinema" altogether, but animation has that little thing that makes all my senses tingle.
From small indie hand drawn cartoons to high budget CG movies, I try to keep up with what's being produced in the realm of animation.
Of course, I love animating using AE and when I design stuff, keeping in mind how they'd move and react is a key part of the process for me.
" Music "
Music, man... That's got to be the most powerful thing in the world right ? Everyone's got such an intimate, intricate, unique relation to it.
Of course I enjoy listening to music from pop-rock classics to small indie beats, but I enjoy playing as well.
My first instrument was a ukulele my friends bought me for laughs a while ago, but we've been inseparable ever since. I've also taken up piano lessons for the past year. It's tough.

" Caring "
